It's definitely intersting, but I have no idea what I am looking at. If the image was split by the top third and the bottom two thirds, you would never guess they were part of the same scene. And other than the "ghost", the top third is the most appealing part of the image. Good capture though - I look forward to the explanation. :)

Very soft. Maybe intentional, but doesn't work for me. Also seems to have a yellowish cast to it. Crop is the strongest attribute here. Best of luck.
