A 5.9 is pretty respectable, but I wonder why this didn't place higher. Looks like it just suffered from a lack of anything particularly unique like the smoke in the red ribbon entry. Maybe the crop is too chopped. Just looks like it got bogged down in the middle of the pack in a sea of similar shots. Well done, though Margi! I think you did a great job on it overall.

Way to go, Al! Congrats on a personal best. I do know how much work goes into shots like this. Worth the effort probably. I think a few simple improvements could have pushed this into the top ten: turn the player & racket more toward the camera and slightly deeper DoF.
