And in my younger days when I was stationed in San Diego and my girlfriend was in San Jose (my hometown), I made that trip nearly every weekend. But I drove all night. Had to stick my head out the window most of the time to keep me awake. I think my record was SD to SJ in about 4:45 doing 90-95 most of the way. :) |
