Cubismby gandersComment: Good in a technical sense, but as a stock photo, who would purchase this other than the Oxo company? |

Springby darixComment: Good composition and color, but something about this seems fake. The snow(?) sort of looks like it was drawn in and the way the flower is positioned seems unnatural, like it was just stuck in the snow rather than actually growing there which I'm assuming is the effect you're going for here. |

Flowerby pgattComment: Nice color, but the focus is too soft and the composition isn't really interesting in any way. |

Airforce1by dixonp1Comment: I think this would be more powerful if the wing weren't covering the "United States of America". Without being able to see all the words, you have to look closely or recognize the paint job to figure out it's Airforce One. I think as a stock photo, potential buyers would want it to be easily recognizable--they need something that will make a fast impact on the viewer. Without the Airforce One impact, it's just another airplane. It's cool that you got a chance to shoot this though. |

Symbol for the Timesby secondglantzComment: Needs more light on the left side of the face. Highlighting one side is fine but it's almost impossible to see the other side here. Having one side be dark might work with a different composition, but I think a straight on face shoot cropped this way demands that the entire face be visible. |

moonlitby hecksheriComment: Yes, he did take some portraits and color shots, but in my opinion they are not what define his style. Everyone experiments, but one's style is what is common and familiar. If every type of photo someone ever took were included in a description of their style, then every photographer would have essentially the same style. In my opion, what defines Ansel Adams' STYLE is high contrast outdoor black and whites, not every photo he ever took. This looks pink to me... |
