Rest from his laboursby e301Comment: Hey this looks great! Only 21st? WHat happened? I think it's perfect, except for the tiny little motion blur on the hand. I'd have seen this in the top 5. So much to look at... |

Taking a breakby JeanComment: You're right the image is dark, but I guess that's the way it should be? Feels right. I agree with bear_music, the face should be brighter to put emphasis on it, make it stick out a bit more against the background. |

Siestaby ImagineerComment: Jeez... how long are you gonna stay in Venice? I wish I could afford a vacation that long :)
Great picture, I like the many tiny details, like the pigeon; and the broken symmetry. Man, I got to get there soon! |

Self Portrait at The Old School Houseby ImagineerComment: Just discovered this whilst browsing the portraits gallery. I love the perspective and the light that hits the wall on the right. Can you tell me where this is? Looks like mediterranian... |

Geraniumsby ImagineerComment: Great desaturation. I enjoy how the little speck of colour emphasizes the only organic element in an otherwise mineral frame (except for the wood maybe). |

Venezia: with textby ImagineerComment: You're right, the text adds a lot to the picture. If this was a postcard, I'd buy it right away. |

Floatingby ImagineerComment: Reminds me of the Italian movie 'La vita e bella.' Great candid. Excellent timing. |

Venetian Glimpseby ImagineerComment: You have a great eye for outstanding pictures. What exactly is it that you shot here? Some kind of fence?
I'm going to Venice this summer, unfortunately, I'll only have my Ixus400 to take pictures with. There are some quite inspiring pictures in your Venice gallery. I'll send a link to my friends who'll travel with me. |

Mr Bubblesby whatdewucComment: I don't want to offend anyone, but this looks rather like Miss Bubbles...
I think the picture would have been better if your subject wasn't looking straight into the camera. Closed eyes would have suggested dreaming, relaxing. Good colour tones here. 6. |
