Want Some Candy?by lizzyc3Comment: Sure, thanks ;) The crop is just right. The border's corners have white spots. Where did those come from? The glue is visible at some places. You might have tried to use less of it. The lower part is way too dark, and there's some noise. The depth of field might be narrower, focused on the woodies hands. But I like how he seems to reach me the candy through the screen. Nice shot, the best I've seen so far. |

Line Abreastby outlandComment: The flashlight did'nt do well here. You should have used a softer light source, to create some nice shadows. Good idea alternating brown and white heads. |

Mendel's Legacyby Dr.ConfuserComment: Gregar Mendel? Never heard of him. I'm ignorant, I guess. Nice composition. I like the look of the pen, but I don't like that the text doesn't help me understand what Mendel dicovered. |

5 2/3 Empty + 1 1/3 Full = 7by BikeRacerComment: Strange title. I'd have used identical bottles. The blue one fits in least of all. The left part might have been cropped off almost completely. |

the lucky 2 dollards circleby yomanComment: Spelling mistake in the title. S**t happens. Irregular composition, the coins don't touch each other everywhere. The flashlight destroyed most of the relief. The lower coin is too dark, the upper right is too bright. Good idea to put another coin into the middle than on the outside. It's hard to find out about that, though. They should all be straightened, too, with the bears looking all into the same direction. See Murphy's Law... |

The Seven Sistersby marboComment: Okay, I see 4 chimneys, 10 windows, 5 peaks, but no sisters. Ah, I got it. They're in the houses, right? ;)
I guess you meant the 5+2 peaks. The two in the background are really hard to see, and it's not obvious that they're the picture's subject. They're in the background, and the houses are more important to the eye.
If I got it all wrong and you really referred to the sisters in the buidings, I apologize for not getting it :] |

Fingers Crossed- Good Luck!by scalvertComment: When somebody suggested taking a shot of seven fingers in one of the forums, I laughed about it. You did a great job putting seven fingers on one hand without editing! I'd have desaturated it completely, and used a different light angle to get some more shadows. If the light came from the right, it wouldn't be possible to see your second hand in the lower left corner. Cool. 6. |

A bugs lifeby nico_blueComment: Aren't those bugs supposed to be bright red? That would have made this picture, which has a nice composition and DOF much better. The bugs are just simply too pale. |
