Nice lighting and a good mixture of colours too. Good shot. Maybe a diagonal angle would have made it a bit more interesting.

Increasing the contrast would make the background black rather than a grey, and would help make the knot stand out more.

The high key effect works well, but its the eyebrow which is in clear crisp focus, and the actual eye is blurry. A wider DoF would have helped.

I think that overall the photo is a bit dimly lit and its hard to see some of the detail. This is also caused by the fact that you didnt use the full 640 pixels available to you.

I think you needed to be slightly furtehr back from the subject because it is out of focus at the moment. Also, a more interesting background would be good too.

Nice light and colours on the glass, but in my opinion the background is distracting, despite being out of focus.

Really nice detail captures, and the contrast and colours are good. Its a shame the diamond is over exposed though. ALso I don't like the yellow in the border. Black on its own would have been fine.
