Ubique: You are entitled to your opinion as much as everyone else is entitles to theirs. Some people may not have minded the pink, but just thought it was too overdone, or not done well. No need for profanities. |

Ashaby SJCarterComment: The blurred background looks really badly done, and it's a real distraction, sorry. Most photoshopped blackgrounds do, since the transition is too quick, and doesn't progress going backwards, and it too soft. Also, the characteristics of real blur are not present. If you have Photoshop CS try using an alpha layer to set distances and use the 'Lens Blur' tool for a much more realistic effect. |

Catch Lightsby ArtysteComment: Fantastic focus and DoF, really brings the attention to the amazingly contrasty eyes, where everything else is so soft! I would be tempted to use a warmer tone though, rather than the slight green tint you seem to have used. |

Hang on!by MikeOComment: I think you've sharpened a little too much, because all the diagonals have jaggies, but these are hard to avoid a lot of the time and I too am guilty of it. I also think you could have boosted the contrast a little to give more impact. 5 |
