Bonnettby dave2119Comment: Looks like you used the flash here? It's cast quite a harsh shadow on the girl's face. It's best to diffuse the flash when taking portraits if you haven't done so already in this shot. I also think it seems a little over-sharpened and over-contrasty, but of course that's just a personal perference. |

The arms of deathby redpandaComment: Really nice capture! I've never seen one where the mantis has ever actually caught anything. Maybe a slightly wider DoF to get the front legs of the 'victim' in focus would improve it a bit, buth nothing to take away from this one. |
