Pool Abstractby elsapoComment: I love the moody/haunting quality of this shot. Can I ask, did you dodge and burn to get this effect? |

Summer Marsh, Evening Ebbby Bear_MusicComment: Beautiful overall composition. The boat in the foreground adds so much to this image. I love the boat's lines, lighting, colors, the reflection in the water, and the tonal gradation of blue from the bow to the stern. As far as leading lines goes, I do feel that the "shoreline" leads my eye *away* from the boat, rather than *towards* it, but I suppose that it leads me into the rest of the picture. Is this bear_music? If not, I apologize. |

The Metal in My Hand, Many Summers Agoby thewritersideComment: I think this is way under rated. Big time. I think this should have been in the top ten, at least. Maybe you got voted down by people who think that everything has to be in focus and the horizon has to be perfectly horizontal. Anyway, I think it's excellent. Does look a bit dark on my monitor, though. Is it possible that you need to decrease the brightness on your own monitor? |

Target practiceby graphicfunkComment: Interesting. The smoke is a nice touch. Lighting is effective. No bullet hole in the can, though? |

Out of the shadowby pmottaComment: Beautiful! I like the black and white, too. One of the best I've seen in this challenge so far. |

Inca Trailby elsapoComment: Great photo! Looks a little heavily processed, but so what? Still a great photo! I really like this one a lot. Good luck. |

Popsiclesby bucketComment: Because the kids are centered in the photo, my eye goes to them immediately, without being led there by the lines in the wood. Might be more effective with the kids off center. Cute shot, though. |

The Journeyman by muur88Comment: This will do very well. Bow bridge in Central Park? The lighting here is remarkable. How did you get the background so black? Definitely a striking photo. |
