This is so beautiful and makes an excellent photo for several reasons. First, the shallow DOF and the subtle gradations from green to blue provide a simple yet elegant abstrant background. Second, the composition and POV underneath the flower provide a new, interesting approach. And third, the radiance and glowing quality of the warm colors up front contrasted with the cool colors in back. Truly a gem in your portfolio. I had high hopes for you in this challenge and you proved them right. Congrats!

Congrats on this fine abstract. The shallow DOF works so well because of the warm gradations or oragne and red in the background. Great composition as well.

This is great. I love the strong reds here and the beautiful reflections in the water. I also love how you can see distant city buildings through the hazy smoke. Perhaps the contrast could have been boosted a bit more. Overall a very successful photograph that should do well - I suspect top ten for sure. Good luck :)
