Ok...this is getting there...the focus still needs to be on you...make sure when you focus on the teddy the camera is actually focusing on the teddy and not the background. As it looks like it still is. Also remove the catch light in your left eye and use a darker background...throw a black shirt of cloth over your background.

Well I love it. Ilike the angle and the idea. The background really works. Maybe you could try a gradient levels mask to make the underneath of you slightly darker to make it more realistic....(it also helps to blend edges).
