This is a very nice with a relaxed model and a nice expression. My only nit-pick is the area around her hand. Maybe a splash of light around that area would be nice. Her hand almost looks like it's floating in space.

I like the basic concept but IMO there is just way too much going on. Too much competing for the eye's attention. My eye goes from the leg to the writing, to the partial foot, to the manequin...all over. nice color and textures though.

I like the pink frosting and cake idea. I do think however that you took a good idea too far by creating / using that hot pink background. The pink in the frosting and cake is much more pleasing to look at, but is completely dominated by the background color, which isn't the most flattering shade. Against a white or neutral background, the cake really would have popped out at the viewer. Just my two cents.
