I love this shot.... very awe inspiring. I would like to see the same shot with either more of the splash in the bottom right, or less of the splash.... As it stands, it detracts from the image IMHO. The lighting is great! Normally I'm a stickler for the details (title doesn't include &), but in this case I think I'll make an exception because the image is wonderful.

The stick is a bit of a distraction and I think the cropping could be a little better to include a little less of the foreground and just a little more background

I love the textures. I think this is a good shot and appropriately named. I don't know if a better vantage point would have been possible to eliminate the trees on the horizon - I find them a bit distracting.

I don't get the reference, maybe I'm having a brain freeze. The lighting is good, but the image overall seems a bit grainy.

The focus is a little soft overall. The colors seem a bit unrealistic (not sure if that was the intent). Highlights on the flower and the tail of the dragonfly are blown.

Thanks for all who commented. I'm a bit disappointed in the score, but not suprised. Special thanks for all those who took the time to see what I was going for. I realize the shot was a bit extreme and some could be disturbed by my choice of titles. I would really like to see the "1's and 2's" do better, but I guess there's no pleasing the trolls. I will journey back into the box for future challenges. Well... maybe after the D&L challenge ;-)
