How lucky you were to find this group photo op. These models are great. Nice picture, good composition, nice dof. My only question is whether this was oversharpened a little as my eye reads the branches and twigs on which the pelikans are sitting as a little too busy. It might have helped (for me!) if you had cropped out the bottom until about the first center pole. That would also give even more emphasis on the pelikans. 8 Journey

He's a cool character. Wished that due to lighting the detail in the lower neck wouldn't have been washed out so and that the background, nicely blurred, would have been darker. The bright green just above his head takes away a bit from the attention on his 'bad hair'. 8 Journey

Lovely image. Are you familiar with the watercolors by Louis Agassiz Fuertes (from NY state, earlier part of 20th century)? If not, try to get your hands on a copy of one of his books from a library. He did exquisite watercolors of Herons, Secretary Birds, etc. You will probably be delighted to look at them. This image reminded me of his watercolors immediately. 10 Journey
