While I love the angle on this shot, I wonder if moving up jsut a touch would make the water a bit more pronounced? Nice clarity, and while many always say use the rule of thirds, I like the centered composition of this.

I figure this was shot through the glass, so flash would have been very difficult, but the branch is a bit distracting with because it's a bit blown out

If you have a chance, try taking two exposures with a tripod, and then combining them. Or if there was no glass and you are close enough, try using a fill flash

ooo a maple leaf! I wonder what would happen if you did this as a B&W or a sepia and then bumped the contrast up a bit to make the impression stand out a bit more?
