Still of the Morningby SkipComment: Stunning shot, but for the black band at the top. It really distracts me. When I crop it out of the shot, it is so much easier on my eyes. |

Snaggedby SkipComment: WOW is really the only thing I can say to this one! Great capture! |

In the heat of the nightby geewhyComment: This looks like a shot of some kind of refinery type place, and without all the "flames", I might have actually liked it. Also, some of the "towers" that the "flames" are coming from actually look like cooling towers and would not ever have flames. |

Anyone Seen Laurie?by SkipComment: I really like this one! The tilted horizon makes it feel a little weird, and I would love to see a little bit of "fill flash", but I love the perspective and the concept. |

On my patio....after darkby christyrackComment: I'm so sorry, I almost never say this, but there is nothing in this photo that I find appealing at all. I'm not sure if this is a case of selective desat, (which I am not opposed to), or just weird colors, but I just don't like it. I can't even determine what the actual subject is, or what those green things are. The only suggestion I could possibly make to improve this photo is to suggest that you take a different one. Sorry. |

Lonly at Nightby egillibsenComment: It's hard to make out exactly what I am looking at here. I think I see a "person", and I am guessing that the lights are from a town, not water, but the flash on the near rocks is rather unsightly, and is certainly a distraction. I can't figure out what the red thing is either - a pole maybe, since that other thing looks like a chain, but gosh, I hate to have to work this hard just to figure out what's IN the photo, let alone comment on what I'm supposed to see, when I can't really see very much. |

Neonby divernickComment: Since you submitted this shot, and I'm supposing that you actually saw it before you entered it, I'm guessing that you were going for abstraction on purpose, and if so, then I guess I don't really care for it. Some nice colors though. |

Clotheslineby JiaBobComment: Sorry, I see a small oval of light cast on the ground, but really nothing else. This is very, very dark, and I certainly don't see the clothesline that you refer to. |

Pumpkin Patchby PDavisComment: I like the negative spaces, and the angle of the light on the pumpkin, but there is nothing here to really make this a stand out shot. There is nothing in particular that grabs my attention, nothing that draws my eyes to it, nothing that gives it that little something extra that would really spark my interest. |

Texas Starby crabappl3Comment: Pretty colors, but the angle of the shot makes it difficult for me to determine what the heck this is that I am looking at - (a building, a sign??). The composition/crop feels a little unbalanced since the very colorful part of the photo goes all the way off the edge on the left, but the right side is dark. |
