Not a bad shot, I just don't like it for the Candid challenge. To me, candid involves the process of catching "living things" , well...living, I guess.

I have to come right out and tell you that this is my lowest rated photo in the challenge. The concept kind of leaves me cold. The people look like they were cut out of another photo and "photoshopped" into this one; they look unnatural. I REALLY don't like the "treatment" or whatever you did to the rocks; they, too, look like they were "photoshopped in". The composition seems very heavy on the bottom, and the photo is cut straight across the middle by the water line - there is nothing going on in the top half, and WAY too much going on in the bottom half.

I am so sorry; I usually find something to like in every photo, but this is one that just has no appeal to me at all.

I absolutely love this shot. Probably because it makes me think of people I know! The black and white is the perfect choice. This shot, like a few others in the challenge, actually leaves me with so many questions - wanting to know their "story". Also, I just noticed the border - classic and understated it complements the photo well.

You have got to just love this photo. Would it be nice if both eyes were in focus? Yeah, but who cares, this is a wonderful capture of a moment in time.

Yup, this is exactly what I had in mind when they said "classy". I wish I could see more of the door, it seems very dark, but nevertheless a very nice shot.
