A Face from Indonesiaby tyt2000Comment: Simple and lovely. In this case, I think I might have liked a bit deeper depth of field to bring out more of the texture of the fabric - I think it adds to the shot rather than taking away from it. |

Traditional Bridesmaidby docpjvComment: This is just incredibly beautiful. Not only the lovely model, but the nice crisp saturated colors, and the perfect dof. Not crazy about the composition, but not knowing the circumstances, I can't say how it might be improved. Nevertheless, quite a lovely shot. |

End-of-Summer Daysby fifieldComment: Though this is an adorable shot, I would like to have seen a bit more of a dynamic composition. The mountain in the background is distracting, and I would like to have seen that little face turned more towards the light. The concept of him in the hammock (or whatever it is), is great, and the colors are lovely - perhaps try some different angles of approach and definitely some closer crops. |

Little Miss Seriousby redmondson01Comment: Absolutely gorgeous child, and she is just lovely in the soft light. Depth of field seems razor thin - I honestly would have loved to have seen more sharpness on all those tendrils of hair in the light. Beautiful shot though! |

Baby Blueby Travis99Comment: I like the crop and composition, as well as the simplicity of the shot. The lighting looks a bit harsh, and though I can't really put my finger on why, the eyes feel a bit oversharpened - maybe it's just the double reflection. |

Contemplationby CutterComment: Good clarity and sharpness, and I like the nice tight crop. Reflection adds unexpected interest. |

Briannaby nico_blueComment: Beautiful model, good concept, but for me, the bright red "industrial looking" chair clashes with the casually soft sensuallity of the model. I would love to have seen her draped over chair that was a bit "classier". That being said, I must take into account the possiblity that this more industrial look was actually what you were going for, and if that is the case, then it is pretty well done. The lighting is a bit bright for my taste in this instance, but the composition feels right, the model seems at ease, and the shot looks like a contemporary ad. This might be a good stock shot. |

Veiledby labudsComment: I like the black background, the red scarf, and the beautiful eyes, but am not entirely crazy about the lighting on the face. I think I would have preferred to see lighting from one side only, giving a more mysterious look to the shot. |

Owl Portraitby mexicoComment: Nice sharp shot, and I like the composition, but would really like to be able to see even the tiniest bit of the iris of the other eye - just being able to see that bit of orange feels a bit odd. The color in the eyes looks a bit oversaturated, but I'm not taking anything away from the shot for that because, of course, it's entirely possible that it is actually the exact color! |
