Mother's Loveby cloudsmeComment: I like the concept, but I'm just not comfortable seeing only the top of the child's head. I would really like to see his/her face. To me, the whole issue of mother/child is the interaction between the two, and this just doesn't convey it adequately for me. |

Motherly Frogby tolovemoonComment: I am SO not a fan of photos of what I think of as "knick knacks". This seems a tad out of focus all over - it doesn't look like a selective blur. All of the grasses in the foreground distract my eyes from the intended subject. |

Mother Nature's "ray of lights"by tjmuellerComment: Though I find this interesting, it seems a bit drab. I would really like to be able to see more clearly defined rays of light, and maybe a bit of levels to bring the darker areas up a bit for a little more contrast. |

Bubblesby Meridian SageComment: Hmm...sorry, I see absolutely NO connection to the challege topic, and though I have looked at this for awhile, and tried to think of a possible connection, for me, there is none. For me, personally, this is a DNMC. |

r.i.p.by focus57Comment: I love the dark feel of the image - very cold and eerie feeling. |

Makes me cookiesby myceliumComment: Though I understand the concept, I would have liked it better if SHE was in focus instead of the food. Leaving her out of focus effectively relegates her to a background/secondary subject of interest when she should (IMO) be the main focus. |

Feeding The Youngby PoobaComment: Cool shot. I've spent a lot of time trying to get good shots of the ospreys, so I love that you got this shot of her "bringing home the bacon"! |

Mother Lynxby Goldwing_edComment: It may be a mother lynx, but I'd really prefer to see a baby in the shot. With her alone, it just doesn't say "mother" to me. |
