Stormy Coastby orvaratliComment: This image fascinates me simply because of the strange juxtaposition of the dark, moody, stormy part and then the brightly lit land/city/port area. It's almost like 2 different images. I totally love the look of the foreground, and the storm clouds. Very spooky looking. |

Black Angelsby kvickreyComment: Just don't know where I'm at with this one. I've been back to look at it several times before I comment. I like the overall softness with just the area of her head in focus, and the burned in corners, but really have trouble with the "black" aspect of it. I would like to have seen the entire horse in the image, or alternatively, a much closer crop on her head/face and the horse's head.
This seems to convey to me the concept of black/evil in the world, and I am not comfortable with that. Would I have been OK with a white horse and white angel? Yes, most likely I would have been. Is that ridiculous? Well, maybe to someone else, but that's how I feel. (I did not vote it "down" because of how it comes across to me, but rather on it's effectiveness as an image (in my opinion), and gave it a 7). |

Pondering Lifeby KelliComment: Really sweet image, makes you want to reach out and touch him/her. Too much background dirt for my taste, I find myself thinking - more cat, less dirt. While this is an adorable shot, it doesn't seem to have that something extra that makes it really stand out. |

Within The Place Of A Stone Circle by scarbrdComment: I really like the concept, but the my overall perception of the image is that the tone is a bit "muddy". I would really like to see the stones stand out a little more. |

Amorby AranchaComment: This is really, really nice. It has the feel of a very old, documentary-style photography. The toning is beautiful as well. |

Kissby sir_bazzComment: Unbelievably beautiful capture. Exposure is just so dead-on. Bet you have clients lining up around the block if this is representative of your work. |

Abandoned At Donnelyby davidbedardComment: While this isn't a image that "wows" me, I find that it does have a certain appeal. The details of it - the gingerbread on the house, the spanish moss in the trees - these are what draw my attention here. I find that there is more than enough going on in the image to keep my eyes moving around. I really do like the PP, it suits the image well. |
