The blue fabric/towel under the boat is very distracting to me. I would have preferred to see it completely surrounded by black so that it appeared to be floating in air. The shot also feels "crowded" to me. Maybe landscape with a little more negative space to give the boat room to breathe. Hope this makes sense to you. lhall

"Old" is not the first thing that comes to mind when seeing this shot. However, I really like the light/shadow thing that is going on, and especially like that there are areas of nice detail, as well as lots of "lost edges". The overall effect is very nice. lhall

I'm just not sure what to make of this shot. I like the building against the very blue sky, the composition is very interesting, and it has "old" written all over it, but it is so very ornate that my eyes just doesn't have anywhere to "settle". lhall
