Stained Glassby YomiComment: I like the composition you used of including the area surrounding the window even though it is pretty dark on my monitor. The window itself is awesome, I would have been so tempted to do a closeup of some of the window details; I imagine that it could be breathtaking. |

Puzzling Doorby DougPazComment: How cool is that??! I love the whole look! Nice color, and I love the crispness of the architectural details. The only thing I'm "iffy" about is the loose puzzle piece - it seems to be floating in the air, and I would have expected to see it laying haphazardly on the ground in front of the doors. |

All Closed Upby JeanComment: Good lighting, though I think I would have liked to see some "fill flash" to fill in the shadow at the top; decent composition. Love the combination of colors, and the look of the bright new leaves against the old masonry and wood. On second look, I am rating this higher than I did at first - I really like it. |

Window to heavenby amonteforteComment: I like the idea, but the photo, other than the sky, is very dark on my monitor. I like the look of the clouds in the window, but can't tell if the blue color cast is because of the window, or because of white balance or other issues. I would have liked to have seen more contrast in the clouds. I'm not altogether crazy about the composition, but honestly don't know how else it could have been done. |

Sudley Church Windowsby 3boyzMomComment: The bushes in this shot really detract from it for me. I would have loved a nice tight crop surrounding all the windows and really showcasing them. The reflections of the trees are wonderful and provide so much interest. The overall color on my monitor is blue, and I'm wondering if it was your white balance, or if possbly that color cast could have been removed in PS or a similar progra. I think if the building was more of a nice stark white, it would have provided a wonderful contrast and really made the photo "pop". Then again, maybe I'm completely off base and the building IS blue!! |

Come Inby justineComment: On second look, I like this shot more than I did the first time. I really like the color and interest of the stained glass, and though at first I thought the shot was a little dark, now I find that I really like the harsh shadows that show the definition of the "architecture" of the door. I like that the door has a really old look to it, almost a smoky look. Nice shot. |

City Windowsby nathaliedooComment: Interesting color, and repeating shapes, but it looks like an old industrial building, not a "city" building. In this case, I think I would have preferred a more centered composition, especially if all of the windows on the right side were white - it would seem more balanced that way to me. |

"dark night , bright white , windows and doors"by tfarrell23Comment: This shot seems to be more about the building as a whole than the windows and doors. I like the look of the building against the negative space, but would have preferred a tighter crop; there is a little too much negative space for my tast. The lighting is good on the building, and the repeating shapes are interesting. |

Open Mindedby lisaeComment: Though I'm not particularly crazy about this shot, I find it to be an interesting concept, and fairly well done. |

Eternal Doorwayby AnachroniteComment: Not nearly enough tonal range for me - very, very dark throughout. However, it's a very interesting shot, and that small bit of blue is terrific. I REALLY wish I was able to see more detail in the shot, it looks so cool. |
