Guess I'm not familiar with this particular "cliche". Feels unbalanced with the blinding white light on the bottom and all the dark on the top. Makes me feel like I do when a car is approaching me with it's brights on, I just want to look away.

This is actually one of the few "dead" flower shots that I like. Not enough light on the flowers for me, but otherwise, pretty darn nice.

Very grainy, and looks WAY oversharped, and not nearly enough kitty in the frame! Way too much empty space between the flowers and the cat for me. Even so , had this been a nice, crisp, clear shot it would have earned a better score from me.

Very soft focus, but for me, it doesn't hurt the shot much, because the eyes and eyelashes are in pretty good focus. The outer edges of the ears look almost like a painting.

It would be hard for me to tell you why, but this shot just really turns me off. For the most part, the lighting seems pretty good, and the pink color is nice and vivid, but I'm not comfortable with the composition, or the general overall look of the flower.

Um, I seem to be unable to actually see the "shoe tie". Pretty nice clear shot of a lovely young lady, but a very distracting background. And the title refers to something I can't see, so that kind of takes away from the experience for me.
