this is great--it could really be a von dutch ad! i went to the 'magic' fashion trade show in vegas last year, and i swear the entire city was one big walking von dutch ad--especially the hard rock hotel. most of the trade show parties were held there, and i swear 1 out of every 3 guys and girls were sporting one of these. it was hilarious. :)

at any rate--i like your processing of this photo--and i like the treatment of the letters on the left of your head. all that with the lighting, give it a nice gritty feel.

this is a wonderful portrait--he seems kind of sean penn'ish to me...maybe the eyes? nose? i dunno. anyway, the lighting and clarity are perfect, and i love the way the smoke wraps around his head and disappears out of the frame.
