Great composition and wonderful capture. I think it could have been better with a bit more color to make the birds stand out from the water. Wouldn't this have been great witha pinkish sunset reflection in the water, but these things we cannot control. Focus could have been a bit sharper, but I really like it. Bumping up 8.

Something about this one I like. I think I would have liked it a bit better if the light source had been slightly more angled from the front to bring out just a bit more detail between the layers. 8.

The Barrier

I reall like this shot, and the angle. The abstract quality created by the lines, colors, and shapes is very appealing. I think the focus is a bit soft for this sort of shot, but not distracting enough to mark it down at all. 8.

You get bonus points for incorporating the Lucky part of the challenge into a pleasing shot. I considered something like this as well, but did not have 7 horseshoes, rabbits feet, 4 leaf clover, (you get the idea). Great work. 9.

I have to say this is lovely. Very simple, but lovely. It might have added a wee bit more punch if the white background had been a contrasting color, but that doesn't detract from this image. Just a suggestion. 9.
