This is a somewhat disturbing landmark. Pretty well taken shot, but It doesn't appeal to me personally. I am curious what the story is behind this one.

The windo approach is just not working for me here. The curtains are cropped oddly, and the main interest in the tower is blocked by the window framing. and the trees. It does look like a lovely place to live or visit.

I would have liked to have seen a much closer shot of this. The sky and water hold no real interest on this day, but the intricacy of the building itself could have. I also think the dead centered composition detracts from the appeal of this image. Good luck.

I am not sure I could say this meets the challenge, but I am not one to give out terrible marks for not meeting my opinion of what the challenge is meant to be. I think the composition has some merit, I like the leading space in front of the train, but It seems a little too tight on the top. I also think the soft focus seems inappropriate for this shot. The colors are nice. Good luck.

If the lighthouse in the background is meant to be the landmark, I feel it has been minimized rather than maximized by this shot. I find nothing very striking about the coastline as well. Keep trying.
