Flood Tide at Twilightby Bear_MusicComment: I think I can see bear prints ;>)
This certainly makes a difference with this type of scene, to have the grass in the foreground tossed about by the wind for thirty seconds. Nice and peaceful. |

The Basinby printer4uComment: Very good rendering of the water.
There appear to be a couple of light spots on the rock in the centre, kind of like lens flare. Maybe it's just markings on the rock itself, or drops of water on your lens. ;>P Cool place. |

Street Laneby nhalizaComment: Small size pictures never do well in Challenges, and there doesn't seem to be any bokeh at all. It lloks like a nice street candid, though. |

Beamsby arpitaComment: This is a much better shot, imo, than the one in the link. Very nice! |

Yellowstone Nightby steffyldComment: The central mass seems a bit dark to me (will look at it on another monitor later), and there's some book or something in the foreground which is bothersome. The sky is nice.
A different monitor - yes, there is a little more detail, but not much. ;-) |

Calmby william88Comment: A difficult pose to hold for 30 seconds. I like the misty rocks in the foreground, and the general Oregonian ambience. ;-) |

Fencing at Nightby TG73Comment: There's nothing really extraordinary about this shot - much the same effect could be achieved with a shorter exposure time and wider aperture (though DOF would be different perhaps). |

Beach Vortexby charliebakerComment: Pretty cool effect. My guess as to how it's done - a flashing light on a string, with someone twirling it walking along (backwards?). |

It's Mine. ALL Mine. by karmatComment: Here's a case where the title probably adds a bit more to a very fine photo. Would "Fly on Candy" have scored better? Who knows, but congratulations on the Blue Ribbon. ;-) |
