Good shot but personally I would have cropped out the bloke on the left (he's too sharp and distracting) this would have left a background that adds to the shot

Beautiful shot! Great composition, lighting, timing, tones, mood and relevance but not 100% sure about the right side of the background. A diagonal of pure white and black would have been nice - but still superb and worthy of a ribbon - good luck

Thanks for all your comments. This was done by taking lots of shots of the rippled reflections of a modern brick bridge next to my boat. the 'eyes' are the sky, the dominant colour (red/brown) is the brickwork, the grey/black is the roof of the bridge and the white is the concrete lintels. The ripples were totally unpredictable so I needed a card full of shots to find a 'face'
