the black and white needs more contrast imo. right now everything seems to be a shade of grey w/ no pure whites and no blacks.

You would have done much better without the frame. if you are ever deciding whether to frame or not, always choose not to for challenges and then feel free to frame for anything else.

has some nice artistic qualities such as the bokeh effect in the background and the slightly oof bird... i dont like the leaves in the foreground having blown out highlights however.

uneven exposure makes the background seem like a picture rather than real, i would say that it was indeed a picturebackdrop but it would be better if it was much harder to tell.
