Aurora is not a month...
Its a good photo to start with but i feel you could have made it a llot better with some post processing. For starteds your horizon line is not even, and the bright light in the lower left could have been taken out... also levels would really help with the contrast and make the aurora really pop out against a darker sky.

i think the horizon could have been a little higher or lower - seems akward as it is now bcos you have some half trees in the foreground and the lighthouse is becoming part of the 'middle' ground rather than standing out immediately

some of the tree branches especially near the top are slightly overburnt imo and the sky is a bit wierd... blue in top left corner then white inbetween the trees and grey to teh right.

Im missing summer so much already and winter hasnt even started yet :-(... so depressing.... But your picture is very beautiful! The only suggestion i would make is that the clouds could be a touch whiter.

something about the composition is throwing me off.... I feel like it should either be closer up almost sihluette like or a bit farther back. and I would have liked something to balance the yellow on the right.
