Twilight by KenComment: Ohmygoodness, Ken! All your pier and lighthouse photos are spectacular, but you totally outdid yourself on this one. I'm still gasping in disbelief at how beautiful this is!
MEGA CONGRATULATIONS!

Week #7by SonifoComment: Oh you did goooooooooooood ! ! ! What a treat. Both for you and for us :) What a perfect, classic pose he gave you. I love the cold winter feel that the black and white enhances. He looks like he fits right into his winter scene. Awesome as ALWAYS :)

Gift Shop - Route 66by BAMartinComment: On a sunny day. You would never know with the black background. It definitely looks very nice this way. I think the black background and the great contrast shows off the history of that cool old building in its best possible way :)

Wk_10_B&W_Cyclistsby twmaxComment: You compensated for the harsh sunlight very well. It's not a distraction at all for me because the black and white actually makes the contrast look quite appealing. I bet the color version is not nearly as forgiving.
I love bicycle photos. I'm not sure why. Maybe cyclists are normally so toned and athletic looking so they make such handsome photos :)

Week 9: Marilynby WalesPComment: :) I think she's prettier than Marilyn. Her smile is more genuine. More down to earth. More real. . .even with the wig :)
I just finished taking a flash photography course, so I'm a little sensitive as well to the flash causing some blown out places in her hair, but I still think its a nice portrait.
Oh, and the main thing I learned in the flash photography course: That no matter what you do -- it's a matter of trial and error and you will get different effects every time, and probably will have to edit your photo alot anyway :) But I did learn how to lower the settings in my flash so that I don't get quite so much of a blast when I don't need it :)
