Week 10: Peaceful Situationby jasonlpriceComment: Jason! This is beautiful. The pretty soft light on the baby's face. The peace and serenity seems to glow. Amazing that its straight from the camera. I'm jealous. I never get photos like this straight from the camera.
Awesome!

10 - Antonioby BudComment: Oh man! Antonio has a WONDERFUL face to photograph. So much character. So handsome with all his deep eyes kind smile. The lines and chiseled features enhance his look even more. The only thing I would have done differently is try to get more light on his face, maybe with a levels or curves layer on just the face so the background is over lightened?
I think its an awesome portrait. My favorite kind to try to shoot.

P3090320wk10.jpgby salmiakkiComment: I am such a fan of scale and perspective in scenes like this. Larger than life landscapes or architecture. I love the feeling that you are seeing an ordinary moment -- but in such a striking place. The old building is so photogenic. It is beautiful as a black and white photograph.

Week 10 - Inside the Sugar Shackby KenComment: Oh no! The blown window is okay for photos like this. I recently took a flash photography course, and it was mentioned that photos like this that have the windows with extra highlights is okay becuse it is an interior shot and it adds a feeling of light being in there. Even professional and magazine interior architectural photos have windows that are very bright giving a feeling of light in the room.
I think this is great. I love the feel of the smoke coming from the stuff cooking. It makes it feel alive.
