Max 1by PaulComment: I quite like it too. Something about it looks kind of vintage to me. Like you could be looking at a portrait from another era. I love how you have mixed softness with contrast to really bring out those dramatic eyes. Yes, the narrow depth of field is awesome here.

Animosityby SenayComment: Wow! I agree. You did a fabulous job for such a makeshift lighting set up. That's one dramatic facial pose you have there too :)

Jan 01 2010by JaimeVinasComment: Ooooh, I love it Jaime. Its so exotic looking.
Thank you for posting your lighting set up. Not that I have all those strobes to easily get such a great effect -- but its nice to know so I can put those things on my wish list :)

Not Thrilledby sempermarineComment: He is so cute! So intense, but he can't hide that cute impishness. Yes. Let's see much more of him, okay?

misunderstoodby njsabsComment: Wow! What a beautiful creative pose for a guy. And what a way to fully capture those amazing eyes. Are you charging a thousand dollar sitting fee for your portrait shoots yet? I'm sure you are becoming quite famous in your parts :)

Kissesby rmezzoComment: Oh how this one makes me smile. I'm impressed that she really knows how to pucker. Most babies start out kissing by opening their mouth as wide as possible and attacking the face :) She's adorable, and I like the edgy feel by the processing you did!

2009.10.10 Ashleyby NusbaumComment: I really like it. I like how the simplicity of it keeps anything from detracting from those amazing eyes! Really nice job.

Serenityby bnileshComment: This is so beautiful! Being from America and not seeing a whole lot of people from this culture, I think they are so exotic looking. You really captured her beauty and a softness in her with her eyes closed like that.

Look into the eyes.......by kingskingdomComment: Chris King. . . I loooooooooove your style!! L-O-V-E IT ! I just commented on Lutchenko's 1/2 profile of her and thought it was so striking. I wondered what she looked like in the whole. She is really photogenic and amazing looking, and I LOVE what you've done with her!

Sedatedby rmezzoComment: Ohhhhhhhh, poor JD! When I first started reading, I was afraid I was going to have to click away to avoid crying over an unhappy ending. Thank God he is okay! Thank you for loving your little family member enough to put his wellfare over money. Money will always come and go, and if its not this, the washer will break or the car will go on the blink. But the love and devotion of a little dog -- you can't even put a value on that, can you.
I hope he never ever EVER does that again!
Note to self: KEEP THE CHOCOLATE UP AND AWAY FROM MILLY! |
