Sigh. Another killer! You have so many! This is an 8 or 9 too, but I'm still thinking overall, the first one has everything in it to say "Perfection" so my tastes (for whatever that's worth) still give the first bird photo the edge.

Aaaauuugh! Now, I can't decide. The background blurrier bird adds such interest, and such an artistic touch. Its fabulous, but I thinking mayyyybe the whole package of the first one may have just a slight edge because of that beautiful perfectly composed bokeh. The background on the right might be just a slight distraction, but certainly, among mere bird mortals, this would be about an 8 or 9 :) Unless you're Nikon Jeb who raves and raves about your photo, then slaps a 6 on it :)

I can certainly see why it got such accolades and attention! And seeing DPC awarding a 49th place spot tells me all I need to know about the credibility of the voting here :) This is freaking FABULOUS! How does it get any better than this!

This photo still just blows my mind! I had been showing the other one you won your blue ribbon with to everyone I know. It just takes macro photography to a new stratosphere. I suspect this one will lead the pack in your gallery and exhibit work!
