Painfully Brokenby KarANNComment: Ok. I'm sure you are hearing that the picture is too small, BUT, the subject is nice and big, so you can see what you are trying to convey. And you can tell that the subject is in focus. Good luck. |

Attackingby lovenhate54Comment: Nawwwwww. . . . that's a "love-attack" :) But it's a nice photo anyway. Nice and sharp. Good contrast and lighting. And the model did a great job of showing pain on his face. |

Ouchby BAMartinComment: I like this picture a lot. And I don't like "desert" stuff either -- but this is an appealing picture to me. |

Dehydrationby rd_325Comment: I'm not sure I connect the picture too much to "pain", but the picture itself is really good. And I even hate the desert, but this picture really appeals to me. The quality is great in its sharpness, contrast and lighting. Since I think dpChallenge voters tend to be way, way, wayyyyyyyyyyyy too anal about the whole "doesn't meet the challenge" thing, I am going to give this a 9 because I think it's such a good photograph! I think you nicely framed it too. |

Pain of losing your love one.....by arbil14Comment: Very painful photo. The composition is really good. It looks like there may be a little too much contrast from the bright background, which makes the shadows on a lot of the faces too dark. But what can you do with a photo like this. Nice picture anyway. |

analphabetismby piticuComment: I'm not sure what that is "Analphabetism", but the picture is really good. Nice and sharp. Great composition, and a very natural look of pain on the face. Good job! |

Lossby SteveSeeComment: This is a moving photograph - and a great depiction of pain. Something about the "young-ness" of the guy -- and the poignancy of the name being "Hope". I like the picture a lot. It looks like maybe there was a little too much contrast from the bright sky, which makes the focus and the levels off when adjustments are made to compensate for it. I have had to learn that lesson the hard way. It's a hard problem to fix in a photo. But I really do like the picture a lot. |
