Ohmygoodness! I was so tired and determined to post my Day 17 photo and go to bed and wake up tomorrow fresh and enjoy the new photos and comment on them -- but this one grabbed me in my delirious state and beckoned me to look closer than the thumbnail. And Wow! It was worth staying up late for :)

This certainly makes me wish autumn came before December in Texas! Splendor. . .that's what that is!

The shadows are AWESOME! Its the sunny yellow contrasting with the shadows that make them so striking. And the pastel colors in the window frame. Your work inspires me to look closer at my world. I can't even tell you how much I love this photo. It is truly majestic with those mountains behind her and the horse. With the dust kicking up. But I love the expression on the horse's face -- like he is totally focused on doing his job of gallantly riding his rider -- and her: She seems so happy and full of love for what she is doing.

Sigh. I guess you can tell: I kinda like this photo!!!
