Deb, I really love your photos of your life there. Seriously. As I look at them, I can almost hear moving music and a slide show with these pictures depicting a soldier's life in the war. They're simple, but every one is so interesting and composed so well. They are very photojournalistic. I always look forward to them every day.

Ok. . . .don't even get me started on that Rule of Thirds thing. In my humble opinion, the most of DPC has totally gone psycho about it and totally misses the point. The whole "Rule of Thirds" is meant to be a general guide to what usually makes a photo's composition more appealing. It was NOT meant to be a rigid "Every picture gets trashed if it doesn't follow it" kind of thing, which is what I notice DPC does.

This photo is STUNNING! EXACTLY how it is. . .no rule of thirds necessary! And the border is awesome too! :) Where is it???

Oh Kat!!! This is AWESOME! I love baseball so much, and this just oozes the feel of the game. That grunge is so rich and real! We have our upstairs loft/game room decorated with a baseball theme because our family is such a baseball family. This would make an awesome print for up here :)

What an awesome photo! This has such a unique composition. I love discovering jewels like this so long after the fact. This should have ribboned!
