over all its a nice capture however hving the mic stand out of focus in the F.ground is a major distraction and doesn't act as a leading line (which is what i think it is ment to be. i feel the image as a whole would be alot stronger if it were eliminiated from the framing.

great color and richness, i don't think center subject it the way to shoot this one tho, i think you should've used the pier to really draw the eye in and not just to it. my eye gets stuck to much on the ground and doesn't travel easly throught the frame as it should if propperly led by a well composed subject. i think shooting it leading in from the left or right may have been the way to get a better draw from the viewer. really the water is so calm on the left side you should've put the pier coming in from the right bottom cornor and then going to its point just past center.

IMO this is two good a scene to have fade due to lack of intrust. you should make it a point to reshoot it and really try to compose it as inchantingly as possible.

GL with it tho and would love to see a reshoot pop up in your PF afterr the challenge.

i've been waiting to get to this 1, i saw it in small form and thoguth it would be a really treat to see at the large size (or as large as they let us anyhow). its a great image says the challenge well, & has great color and feel to it.
