Harvest Timeby Prof_FateComment: I don't know why exactly, but this well-executed shot isn't doing much for me. I think it's because there's no context. e.g. a woman inspecting one of the apple's, or the vendor.

The Rotundaby CutterComment: Almost nothing to say here- exposure and contrast are perfect. Perhaps the framing isn't ideal, but still very very nice.

Reachingby phinbobComment: I like it and gave it a high score (too early to say what score exactly; I go back and normalize everything at the end). Three nit picks: 1) There's something at the bottom left that could have been cropped or cloned out. 2) For a B&W, I would have liked to see a little less contrast and sharpening. 3) Well, nothing you can do about this most likely, but the hazy sky doesn't make for a good background. Did you think about a duotone here, maybe with brown highlights?

Contemplationby NunoComment: Excellent contrast, perfectly chosen black point, and nice framing. If anything, you were betrayed by the drab light that day (or time) but I still like the softness.

Starsby RulerZigzagComment: I REALLY like this picture, but I suggest losing the cheesy frame and using something more conventional for web presentation.

Old n' Coldby bbrightComment: This looks way oversharpened to me. Or maybe the contrast was pushed too far?

The Dunesby OlyuziComment: Is it just me or does the sky seem unnaturally dark? It's almost as if the sky is underexposed and the sand is overexposed.

Take that!by mrorange002Comment: I love this photo! I only wish I could see the kicker's face a little more. She looks really ferocious. Perfect shutter speed.
