I agree with Mist. I think that the background wasn't far enough out of focus for the DPC voters. One thing I've noticed is that they take everything literally. I think this is a great candid shot that shows what her daily life is like.

I can tell you what your biggest problem with photography is: You take shots that require the voters to think. How dare you! DPC doesn't deal well with that. So my advice to you is KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Once again, your consistancy is incredible. Very nice detail with a subtle change in DOF. Far different from the shots with the dramatic DOF changes.
