This image is a really great starting point. Two suggestions - crop in closer so that you don't have the dark spaces on the edges - just the colours of the balloon and the silhouette would make a powerful shot, also darkening the silhouette slightly I can almost make out facial details and can tell that he's wearing a blue shirt - solid black would work better. Other than that this is a really terrific idea.

Great subject - i like what you've tried to do with the reflection in the foreground - but it's spoilt a little by the debris floating in the water. The focus on the flamingo is spot on, but the overexposed background is a little distracting.
