birds.jpgby LesyaComment: This is nice and crisp. Definately a good effort. I like the composition - the flapping bird in the background provides a nice set-off against, the stationary bird in the foreground. |

Nerdby GordonComment: Wow, this is a bit of a disappointing result. This was, as my initial comments reflected, just about as close to prototypical stock material as anything in this challenge. It's the type of image that all sorts of corporate types / web designers could make use of. The background is a little distracting I suppose, but other than that I can't make out why this didn't score well into the sixes (especially considering the number of six + scores there were in this challenge). That's what you get for not shooting a landscape I guess :). |

Who`s afraid of the big, bad, wolf?by geewhyComment: I just saw this again, I thought I'd just share my reaction - it went something along the lines of... 'oh s%#t that's magnificent.'
So into the favourites it goes. |

Anticipationby BikeRacerComment: Wow, this is one of the best pet shots I've seen - if you managed to recreate something of this standard for the pet challenge, you're just about guarenteed a ribbon. |

Petal Abstractby banmornComment: Stunning shot, composition and colours are fantastic. Your more conventional flower stuff is technically superb, but this has a whole extra dimension. |

Fuji at Sunriseby PedroComment: Well I'm afraid I'm going to have to side with JPR on this one, if that's not doing a scene justice I don't know what is. Adding to my favourites.

My hands are tiedby MontereykiddoComment: Great job on the desaturation - I hope you could accomplish that with just the colour channels, because that doesn't look like it would be much fun to try with the history brush :). 8 |
