Flying Freeby RiderGalComment: Great DOF here - the city background really adds interest. I would have liked it if the seagull was a little more differentiated - it seems a little flat here - maybe more contrast ? Great job in stopping the motion. |

Sunrise Strollby admart01Comment: Great colours in this sunset - the sun is perhaps a little too blown out, but certainly a nice scene. |

Brooklyn bridgeby darixComment: Great scene here - nice tones - the sepia treatment is very effective. Almost seems like the children were dropped in to an image taken in the 1930's. I might have cropped out the wall on the right of the bridge, but overall this is a really great shot. |

give us a kissby arngrimurComment: This is certainly cute - and quite appealing. The angle you've chosen works really well. Like the way the light graduates from really bright at the bottom to quite dark at the top of the image. |

Susquehanna Fallby spydrComment: Gorgeous scene - perhaps the horizon is a little too centred but other than that an extremely accomplished landscape shot. The reflections are terrific. |

Only Wordsby pottersclay75Comment: NIce work - would have been a great idea for any number of challenges here. The lighting is very good and I really like the use of B&W here. 7 |

Best Bee Macroby ladpupmoeComment: Well as far as bee macros go, this may not be the best I've seen - but it certainly is very good. A) you got really close and the image remains perfectly in focus. B) those are some beautiful flowers - they procide a great context for the bee. |

A Tiny Giant...by NeoScalesComment: I have no idea whats happening here - its certainly an interesting scene (although not exactly one for the squeamish among us :P). I think this would work better with a deeper depth of field - since it's such a confusing scene to start with, the fct that only part of it is in focus serves only to create more confusion.
Once again, I'd love to know what the heck is going on here! 6 |

Waitingby daveitComment: This shot has such great potential - but I think you need to crop out everything but the man and the boy standing side by side - everything else is a distraction. Also the man's face is a little out of focus. Other than that this capture demonstrates you have a good eye for candid moments. |

Helping Hands (C-Section)by cloudsmeComment: This image is both aesthetically disgusting and heartwarming. Unpleasant to view yet it makes me feel good. Thats the beauty of life I guess. This must have been an amazing moment. I really like the contrast between the sterility of the gowns and gloves and the new life. Did you try it in black and white ?? I think that might solve some of the unpleasantness issues and focus attention on the miraculous nature of life 7. |
