while you have an interesting composition, this isn't a macro shot. a macro shot basically fills the frame with the subject, or offers no other distracting elements to take attention away from the subject.

this is great example of how a challenge can push you. you finished well with a nice challenge entry. the question is, what to do next. i think this is a shot that would sell (meaning that somebody else might like to put it on their wall), if it was reshot without the moon and a little more dead-on. it might also be interesting to look at this from a slightly lower angle, adding 20-30% more negative space at the top...just a suggestion. as far as challenges go, i can't say anything else but good job!
