Crevice Sunsetby photomayhemComment: i think this visit has a lot of potential, but i feel this image doesn't quite achieve it, at least for me. the darkness of the crevice is a bit too pronounced, and the sun a bit too overblown. the colors and angle works, but the border is too overdone. good luck with the rest of the voters, this will get a 5 from me. |

Duck Lakeby robdocComment: first, i wish you the best with this image. second, just a matter of personal taste, i don't like the color of the bill. i am not scoring it based on the color, i'm just saying i don't like it. the composition and lighting is great, and the captured reflection really moves it up a notch. good luck! |

Bee's Worldby wkoffelComment: this is a tough shot, and i admire your effort here. while i like the shot (and appreciate how hard it is to get these guys to face you), the composition is a bit out of balance. obviously, you've got good equipment and a nice touch; just keep shooting, and you'll get what you're after. |
