what an amazingly beautiful image. i only know of three people who would have submitted an image such as this, and if you aren't on my faves list, you probably soon will be. thanks for sharing such an incredible capture. to me, this image captures the essence of photography: capturing an instance of reflected light. even if this doesn't score well, it is images like this that hopefully will start to blow the doors off around here!

Thanks to everyone for all of the comments and cheers! I couldn't be happier with the way this turned out, especially considering all of the unbelievably incredible (and super-underrated) images submitted to this challenge. This was just one of those moments where everything was perfect; I'm just glad I was able to share it with all of you!

well, this sure is one of those images that almost defies commenting. it definitely is an attention getter, and most certainly meets the challenge. i guess your score will reflect how appealling this is to the viewers/voters. while i'm sure you had fun shooting this, i'm also sure whatever score you get is going to give you a pretty big grin. personally, i don't find it appealling (it's a little too much 'in-your-face' for me), but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have its place.
