From the Old Photo Albumby lwkimagesComment: what a perfect moment. did you get model releases? i hope so, otherwise, after this challenge is over, i'm going to hunt these people down and see if they want to sue you... just kidding, but, hey, if you are going too be shooting people, you never know...
i'm sure there are a number of things you could do to 'improve' the image, but i think i'll just enjoy the way you've presented it. thanks for sharing. |

Serenityby NitinComment: absolutely gorgeous. i could say 'rule of thirds' or 'too-centered', and maybe i would be right from an artistic sense, but just from a sheer joy of being, i don't care. this is a splendid moment and i thank you for sharing! good luck! |

Twiggyby zeuszenComment: wow, a simple flip of the image, and you would have had a T-errific accidental letter entry ;-)
pretty wild capture; love the position of the legs. the lighting really gives this image soul. thanks for sharing. |

Angelby siggiComment: nice capture! you really seem to have caught her personality. i'm sure there are those who could either pick this apart or give you loads of suggestions, but i'm not one of them. if this was my daughter, i'd gladly pay you for your work. good job! |

Age of Innocenceby superdave_909Comment: excellent capture! i'm really struggling with my new 50mm lens now, trying to get just a step beyond this. this is hard enough, but i want to get this type of shot absolutely razor sharp, with very little softness--you know, so the catchlights are large and distinct. i've had a bit better luck shooting at iso400, and i haven't been experiencing that much noise, either. the other thing i've found useful is to pick a single af point and use it without recomposing. all i can say is 'thank God for digital', because i sure couldn't afford to do all the practice it takes to nail a shot like this if i was paying for film...
oh well, enough about me...wonderful image, good luck! |
