what a beautiful place to be shooting. compositionally, your image is fine. there are some things that could make a difference, though. the details in the image just aren't that sharp. also, the harsh, midday lighting doesn't give it the same drama you'd find earlier or later in the day. sometimes, you don't have a choice: you're there now, and you won't have a chance to get back to it at a different time. but, when you do have a choice, try to get your shots when the lighting can do more than wash out the natural beauty that's in front of you. all the same, nice image. good luck!

oh, my, how precious! i know it's tough to work around a baby's schedule, but i think images like this are stronger when you with natural light. the catchlights here really throw the image off. you might want to check out this site. all the same, nice image. good luck!

so, ya like livin on the edge. tell me, honestly, what type of score did you expect from this image? don't get me wrong...i absolutely LOVE it, it's the type of image i like to shoot, and kinda in line with what i enter. but, i only enter for myself, and really, really don't care about the scores. but, i also really wish more people would be willing to get out of the dpc comfort zones and explore imagery as this. thanks for sharing--keep it up! good luck!
