Another Day in Paradiseby alanfreedComment: what a beautiful palce to be. this looks like an interesting image. i'm having a tough time with the beach, though. i can see sunlight in the fronds, and i see the shadow, but there's hardly any texture to the beach. i like the composition, how the trees are balanced by the clouds, and the primary subject is pushed just off-center. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

Waiting for The Sunrise Over Half Domeby TDCollinsComment: nice capture. love the colors and tones you have here. some areas of the image feel a bit over-processed and uneven, but, all the same, you have a good image. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

Twilightby TooCoolComment: excellent capture, nice treatment. even though it does feel a bit oversharpened, at least there's still a bit of grain in the image to keep it feeling real. love the composition, can only begin to imagine what this looks like large. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

Storm is comingby AranchaComment: nicely seen and captured. can't help but feeling, though, that the processing went just a little too far, as it seems to have wound up rather painterly. while i love the drama and the lines, i do wish i could enjoy it more as a photograph. oh, well, hope this does well for you. good luck! |

Journey Aheadby PaulMdxComment: excellent capture. very nicely observed. somehow, though, i think this is probably much better seen large. do hope you have it displayed prominently for others to enjoy. hope this does well for you. thanks for sharing! good luck! |

Red Textureby vasilkovayaComment: somehow, i get the feeling that this image is better enjoyed at something larger than 640 pixels tall. love the colors, but feel like i'm really missing out on the details that made this so appealling to you. great job with the dof and focus. hope this does well for you. good luck! |

The Solariumby mariomelComment: i usually take whatever i get out of the camera, and maybe fiddle with it some (you know, the basics). every now and then, though, i find an image i have to set aside because i know it's going to need a bit more work than what i can do in a few hurried minutes. the point? i think this image could really use some distortion correction. i don't know how involved that process is, but this image just doesn't appeal to me as is. hopefully others will think it's really cool. |
